We are leaning heavy into a retro, vintage prom aesthetic! Thrifted, upcycled, and vintage looks are highly encouraged. Need the perfect fit? We are thrilled to highlight our community partner Hula Hoop KC as our absolute go-to spot for sustainable, incredible vintage prom looks.

If you are traveling to Kansas City for the games and looking for a local Pride event on your night off, you have found it! We are a local Neurodivergent Queer organization hosting an intimate, sensory-friendlier Pride party. Escape the massive crowds, grab a drink, and celebrate with the local community.

Ticket & Event Information

Tickets officially drop on June 4th for KC Pride Weekend! We are keeping this event as accessible as possible. Here is what to expect:

  • Early Bird GA: $15 (Limited Quantity!)
  • General Admission: $25
  • VIP Prom Package: $35 (Includes admission, 5 raffle tickets, and a VIP Swag Bag!)

We will be hosting a fabulous raffle basket giveaway! You can add discounted raffle tickets to your online order when buying your admission ticket, or buy them at the event via a QR code linked to our secure payment processor.

👑 The Royal Court

Want to be Prom Royalty? When you purchase your ticket, you can self-nominate for Prom King, Queen, or Non-binary Overlord! Nominees will be contacted to finalize details for our low-pressure voting, and the official coronation will take place out on the patio! (Nominations close on [Date TBA]).

What to Expect

The Vibe
An intimate, sensory-friendlier, low-pressure celebration of Queer Joy! Dance on the main floor, chill in the speakeasy, or grab a photo on the patio. No strobe lights. Just good vibes, vintage fashion, and community.
The Venue, Dancing & Photos
We are taking over ALL of Q Kansas City for the first two hours! The main dance floor downstairs will be going, with the music turned down some for a sensory-friendlier vibe. Need a break? The upstairs speakeasy serves as our dedicated quiet escape area. Out on the patio, we will have an event photographer taking candid shots, along with a dedicated photo stand/pose setup!
Accessibility & Westport Warning
We strive to be a sensory-friendlier space. Earplugs/loops and stim toys are highly encouraged, and you have full autonomy to unmask. We will also have small fidget spinners available for use and keeping, passed out on the tables and at check-in!

A quick note: This event coincides with the World Cup. While our private venue takeover will be a safe harbor, the shared patio is open to street views, and the surrounding Westport neighborhood will likely be very busy. If navigating large crowds outside the venue is inaccessible for you, please take care of yourself first—we would love to catch you at a future, quieter ZMM event!
Parking & Entrance
We highly recommend Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) directly to Q Kansas City to avoid Westport parking. If driving, the closest garage is the Westport parking garage off Pennsylvania Ave. Enter through the main doors!
